casus the original one from 1969 was also 1014 pce thickness ... no idea but I would guess the same as any other speedmaster

The RG/YG is the icon... Speedmasters are vastly overproduced.. LE's are a joke... but certain color variants... certain so-called LE's 'matter' and this color variant matters... to change it to WG or steel--IN THIS CASE--would be the wrong way.
