Monday morning - Omega Speedmaster '57 Titanium ...

Jul 17, 2017,06:51 AM

Team,

During my early watch addiction days, I didn't consider white dialed watches as an option.

Time passes and my '57 is one of the watches that I wear with more frequency.

Lightweight, highly readable, under the radar, accurate and is a Speedmaster.

What more I can want?

A beauty on any angle.

B&W show of a B&W watch.

The Speedmaster '57 was/is not a huge success because it was released (shame Omega) at the same time of the Dark Side Of The Moon, that stole the headlines.

It deserves more, much more attention.

Thanks for seeing.

Cheers,

Nilo

. . . a vintage Omega . . . [~'69 ref 137.001 Genève] . . . or two? This one has never been serviced during the six years I've owned it, and it runs perfectly. As in, +/- 0 seconds per day . . . at least, for the better part of a week. Art PS - still awai...

Great photos as always.

It's interesting that I only preferred white /silver dial watches growing up. Of course my view changed after entering the "real watch" world.
