Interesting to note the cal 1869 movement made especially for the Apollo 8 last year . . .

. . . evinces the same jewel count as the cal 1861/63 it's based on. The pebbly black finish is the only distinguishing difference of the cal 1869 in your photo, Nicolas.
Most images on the 'net reflect this as well. But intriguingly, the initial pics . . .

. . . indicate an increased jewel count. The additional jewel is clearly placed in the chronograph bridge. I was hoping for an explanation from Omega, but haven't come across it yet.
