Omega

interesting that only one pusher . . .

. . . was replaced, and that the hands (assuming they were replaced) weren't included with the returned parts.

This is the one aspect of Omega service that many don't fully appreciate.  While I've never personally sent one of mine to Bienne, one of my friends has, and he also received his 'surplus' parts back.

Noticed the hands?  He can return his '59 Seamaster . . .

. . . back to its original appearance if desired.  And, when it comes to case refinishing, Omega Service is unmatched; not all watchmakers are equipped to do the job, and many don't have the requisite skills, either.  Judging by the work I've seen over the years, I'd hazard a guess there's a special department dedicated solely to case restoration.  Given the complexity of many Omega cases, not only shapes but also differing surface treatments, it's not as simple a task as one might at first assume.
