Thanks for the invaluable information, imparted me. Every other day, we learn something from this forum and I always prefer to ask, however silly the question may be. Hopefully, one of these days I may come across, some of of the models you mentioned, that have 18k solid gold dial. They rarely appear today, unfortunately. I appreciate and thank-you.

Hi, the "OM" indicates that it is solid gold - thats right. But there are plenty of 18K gold dials without this "OM" markings. The hint is on the back of the dials - there you will find "18K" . To be sure you will have to remove the dial and have a close ...

Yes, as far as I have been able to ascertain 2699 is the earliest 18k dial for a Constellation. It makes sense in a way because the 2699 and 2700 were the first models to feature a pie pan dial. Re OM, the earliest I have seen OM on a gold dial in the Con...
