I wish Omega would bring back the rubberized racing strap . . .

They were available from the usual suppliers until recently. Should've bought one with the matching deployant and socked it away in the event a Speedy entered my collection.
I agree with you, Massi: strapped Speedies have a different character than those fitted with a bracelet. Some versions, like the Mk II and solid gold models, don't work well with straps, but for the most part a strap will bring out a different - and welcome - character.

I don't know about too much about the variants, I remember there is a 98000024L (long strap) not sure about a short. Maybe 98000024S. lol The standard one can go down to say a 160mm wrist. Note 1.8mm dia spring bars are a must. And this strap requires the...
