Yes, on the one hand blued hour hands would add more contrast and colour, but on the other hand a monochromatic look is also quite something? 🤔
Miki J bought the version our Count now owns . . .
. . . and replaced the hour and minute hands with NOS Omega blued sword hands. I'll try to find a photo.

I like these blue replacement hands, but to me the luxury of this particular 1894 model is the lavish use of rose gold.
Miki swapped the hands for legibility. The original precious metal chronometers . . .
