I had one Art, but...
I had one Art, but i sold it for three reasons.
The first you already know,
The second was that it is pretty big and bulky on the wrist and thirdly, because it was a quartz movement. At the time i was pretty much of the belief that quartz movements were irreparable.
I now know that is not correct and not all quartz watches are the same. Having said that, the beta 21 calibre was made in relatively small numbers so they may be hard to get parts for so you could end up with a very expensive watch case and no working movement.
Very nice looking watches and very typical of the 70's designs.

I bought most of them in the late 80`s. 4 have the 20F mvmt.
Biel is an active ebay buyer for rare pieces:they care for their heritage. before the Omegamania auction they bought many early 321 speedies...... kind regards from down under. achim

Cal. 20F is not as common as the Cal T17 and I like the designs of these watches very much! Concerning the purchases through Omega museum: I knew this as I monitored Marco Richon´s purchases on ebay - I got to know his ebay ID by accident... :-) Omega mus...

. . . can be the most rewarding, Ed. When I end my days of purposeful collecting - and I'm almost done, with just a few more on my list - I suspect it will be these humble angular Omegas that will find their way to my watch box on a whim. Best, Art
