Ha ha ha!! Me too! You know. Not a big dear the story of my Snoopy... a few years ago one of my local watch sources called me to offer a brand new Snoopy at list price...

... and I answered: thanks but no, I´m not interested. This watch is not for me.
I answered that because at that time I had seen the watch in the Internet portals and forums and seemed to me a funny watch with a cartoon on its dial which looked nice but definitively not for me.
Now the offering kept haunting my head for several days and I begun researching the different articles published about this particular Edition and my early thoughts began to change.
A month later my horological heart told me I needed to have one in my collection so I called my friend at the watch shop and asked if he still had the watch. Of course the watch had been sold.
Now I felt I badly needed to have it! It was early in the year 2016, that is a year after the launching of the edition. The craze after this model wasn´t still installed but of course it was not so easy to get it, specially in my hunting grounds.
I was told that another example was coming in about one month and got the promise that it would be reserved for me. I was a good customer of that shop and they had always kept the word but the month passed and then a few more months and "my" Snoopy didn´t arrive and my anxiety kept growing week after week.
Then in August 2016 my friend at the shop phoned me and asked me if I had some time to spare to make a drive to downtown to visit him. The Snoopy was waiting for me to take delivery he said.
As you may understand I left my office at all speed to make the visit and get my watch which as promised was sold at official price.
Hope you´ll enjoy this little story Fred! Best, Abel
