. . . as I've just spent a tidy sum on the Zenith, which pretty much covers this category for my purposes.
The Kevster once said, in his inimitable fashion, that "every man needs a chrono." Agreed, but more than one is difficult to accommodate under present circumstances.
I'd be more inclined if a distressed 910 came my way at a concessionary price; that would be well worth resuscitating . . .

Hard to win with a distressed model
Even a basket case 910 will cost you more to buy and fix than buying a nice one to begin with. You never see them going cheap enough to justify. Feel the same way about vintage SM300s. Even more so with classic cars (I've learned my lessons there )

For some reason, they seem to have a lot of resources
to restore these late 60s, early 70s large cased Seamasters, Speedmasters and Flightmasters. It's great that they do.
