Definitely not military - not that it matters though....
A nice find - don't refurbish the dials as it will reduce the value significantly. I would suggest a gentle brush-clean of the dials, a light polish of the cases and perhaps new crystals. Enjoy them for what they are - vintage watches.

Hi Janos, IMO this dial design is not military and was quite common during that time. Leave the dials "as is" - they are not so bad that it would require a total restoration. regards erich

Both watches are very interesting timepieces. The 26.5 has a very rare type of case with the movement incrusted inside the back-case. The 23.4 is also very nice but i have doubts about the second hand. Otherwise very nice watches!
