Count me as a fan of the chrono display counter.
I really like the hours and minutes on the same subdial. Sure, it is different than I am used to, but I imagine when worn on a frequent basis it would become very natural to read. I give a lot of credit to Omega for utilizing this display.
I was rather surprised to read about the case thickness being "only" 16mm. Thick, yes, but I assumed it were taller. As you say, Omega has incorporated some tricks to reel it in visually.
The case construction is very unique, and has its own charm. Lots of interest to it for sure.
Marcus, another splendid review. Thanks for going above and beyond for us. The words and photos make me want to go see one in person, and other Omegas, and for evoking that feeling, you deserve a lot of credit
