Blomman, to disagree slightly with Nicolas
the Ranchero is quite an uncommon piece. made for the US market only. it has a case and caseback that are specific only to the ranchero. it is essentially one of the last of the 30mm movement variants, with military styling and although not perhaps as desirable as a Railmaster it is still a very nice vintage piece. this particular one has the wrong hands i think. i had one that had dagger hands, but the pic makes these hands look too new. if the hands dont matter and the price is good then go for it and enjoy it.

This is not really a Seamaster, nor a Railmaster, my friend.

i found mine the same way Art, advertised you know where as not working, crown missing etc. picked up for pennies and sent to Omega. it came back as a bargain buy with a 2 year warranty and in spotless condition. best Graham

Go for a Seamaster 165.024. I had one true vintage that I let go. I keep this one, made with parts from AU, and I'm very happy with it, provided that you take good care of the plastic bezel insert. Or, if you want a future classic, go for a PO. Same style...
