Based on the press release is 19mm but ..
The same press release contains this "pearl": "legendary self-winding calibre 1861" (on the specs they corrected that).
Also on the specs, they state that the lug size is 19mm and the 16mm on the clasp and the case diameter is 39.70mm (thanks Omega!).
Another point is the crystal, that on the same specs, made of sapphire with anti-reflective on the inside.
Let's wait and see when this watch is show "in metal" and we can obtain the hard facts.

Lug size ...
Since they messed with the sub dial hands, why not have 20mm lug size? By and large, this is the first Basel 2012 that "sings to me" and is wearable (39mm). Cheers, Nilo

straight lugs?
Everybody is mentioning the straight lugs but, to be completely honest, in that single picture, I see the later caved-in lugs....Am I the only one? ...nonetheless I agree it is a very nice looking homage to the 2998

whatever that means??? But yeah, Omegas limited editions are still essentially unlimited. I've looked at the pic of this watch quite a lot. I think it is a modern Omega to own.

They messed up the hands. Still, the case size is attractive at 39.7mm. What I cannot get pass is the price - it costs almost 7,000 in Sterling. Too expensive!
