Incidentally, if you don't know about this website, you should check it out. They are broadcasting "live" each and every minute of the Apollo 13 mission exactly as it unfolded 50 years ago. Tomorrow, of course, Houston will learn that there is a problem.....  

It is marvelous that present technology can make these historical events of Mankind available for present and future generations to learn and live again. By the way I learned that Apollo 11 and 17 are also available in same site. Awesome!! Thank you so mu...

Collectors prefer no to use a watch and maintain its originality and "never worn" condition. It is always nice to be able to catch a watch in this mint condition of course, but I personally feel that not wearing a watch means to miss most of the joy of ow... 

I love that you wear all your watches, truly admirable. My Apollo is a test for myself, I am just curious if I don’t touch it for like 35 years and then auction it at like an auction house, I wonder, how much it would get. I am the only owner, have box, p... 

... and this is all a matter of personal points of view. We can´t say this way is wrong or this way is good. It is just a matter of considering how it works for each owner of the watch/watches. We can´t say for sure what will happen with market in say 5, ...

. . . ten years ago, Abel. [photo credit: Dr No, 2010] These never come up for sale as they were available only in 'the briefcase', with 20+ other steel Speedmasters commemorating Apollo and (I believe) Gemini missions. I've seen the briefcase only once; ...  

... which I own, reference 3594.50.00 which also was launched as part of that Mission set. The "Replica" was the only watch of that set which was sold separately to the public. I have never seen that set in the metal and I imagine that was an awesome view... 

. . . which was available at Omega dealers until maybe '07/'08. The most underrated Speedmaster in my book, and one of several I wouldn't mind owning. Art
