Omega references CK2179 for the US Army and UK2292 for the RAF.  Steel vs alloy, 35 mm vs 33, radium vs blued hands - but both powered by a 30T2SC movement.

Different on the outside, brothers in.  And that's the way it should always be.

Here is mine, for the comparison. It has lived a rough life, obviously and has a lot of charm. And now, the one I saw: The difference, the writings, which are less fuzzy. 35 mm case, classic military looking radium dial and pointed hands. A lot of allure!...  

35 is such an amazing size
