Hello friends! Last week I posted a few first shots of my just arrived Trilogy set, and I promised to take some additional shots to be taken during the week end. For those friends who didn´t view that previous post, I´ll answer here some questions made on...
... to applaud for sure. In any case the crown do not use the Naiad system but its only for looks as the crown is of screw threaded type which of course is much better for a modern diving watch. The RM crown is not screw down though. Cheers! Abel
. . . another mother, Abel - exactly the same thoughts here! Yes, I'd rather have an original CK2914, but they're out of reach now, so I'm thankful Omega reissued them in modern guise. Wore the Rail Friday and Saturday, been wearing the Flightmaster since...
... you show a superb shot. We must thank Omega for giving us an opportunity of owning such a close replicas of these three classic models of the past. Of course the vintage originals have an special charm and personality which no new watch can reproduce....
I love how your photos show the embedded Omega logo on the crystals. My logo is heading approximately 260 degrees instead of true north. The one thing I have noticed is that you really need to take shots of these pieces in the natural light as you have do...
... and exchange our views about them. These watches are not easy to shot due to the polish of their metal surfaces and the high dome of their glasses which play so much with lighting. It can get really tricky depending on the natural lightning and time o...
I know you are tired of me telling you that you take wonderful pictures of your watches. Hell, I'm tired of telling you this!. But once agin, I feel I must tell you: you take wonderful pictures of your watches. You just get better and better. And these pa...

My interest has always been on the RM as the various iterations have never quite hit the sweet spot. The 60th almost nailed it except for the movement which I can live with although it would be really nice to wind something like this piece. I’ve bypassed ...
I picked up the Railmaster at the end of last year because it was immediately my favorite upon seeing pictures from Baselworld. I really wanted to love that Seamaster but for some reason i can't get over the "countdown" bezel. I don't know, maybe someday ...
... It is a classic which deserved a nice tribute as this Omega is offering now with this 60th Anniversary model. Omega paid attention to many details like the Naiad type crown symbol, and also the rather strange countdown bezel insert of the first series...
... Glad to know you liked the comparison between the two SM! (I would love to be able to show all three models with their vintage cousins!! but guess it will not be possible for me now!) Thank you again! All the best! Abel
