Omega

A friend of mine just bought a vintage Omega through eBay and he would like some help identifying it. Some questions: First of all, is the watch authentic? If so, what model, year? Any helpful stats? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Alfred This...  

He paid a very trivial amount for it. We figure for that kind of lunch money, who would go out of their way to stick in a cheapo calibre into it and fake an Omega? However, having said that, I myself do not recognize it (and thus I turn towards my trusted...
