Well, it is cheap.
He paid a very trivial amount for it.
We figure for that kind of lunch money, who would go out of their way to stick in a cheapo calibre into it and fake an Omega?
However, having said that, I myself do not recognize it (and thus I turn towards my trusted PuristSPro forum

Actually, what he needs . . .
. . . is a refund. If any part of the ebay listing suggested this was an authentic Omega, your friend should file a grievance.
