as a whole and even more so for his family, of course. His knowledge,
iconoclasm and passion will be missed, as will his willingness to
answer the many questions sent to him through cyberspace. He was always
tremendously helpful and the few times we corresponded were a real
pleasure and of great assistance. You simply knew you were talking
things over with a true enthusiast and gentleman.
Like many other Vintage Omega and Chronograph collectors, I owe
him big time and I only hope his articles and database, the product of
many years of collaborative efforts on Chuck's part and others, will
somehow be maintained for the benefit of us all and future generations
of collectors. They, along with his wonderfully detailed posts, are a
great legacy to be treasured.
