Omega

A not so common Omega : the Constellation 41mm

The Speedmasters and Seamasters usually get most of the attention in the Omega catalogue.

The brand produces however also other interesting and successful models, like the modern Constellation.
I refer to it as the modern Constellation as the name would reference to the early Constellation models from Omega, the so-called "Connies" with which the actual models have nothing in common, except for the name.
In fact, the Constellation-Manhattan model came out in 1981 and during its 40 years of existance was amongst the most successful models from Omega.

My watch is the new 41mm model of which I would like to show a few pictures:

Steel case and black ceramic bezel.

A very original dial ....

...with a so-called "silk" pattern which changes light with every wrist movement.

As usual with Omega we find great case finishings and details.

The famous "half-moon" case shape.

The Master Chronometer movement with a quartz like precision!

The watch is very comfortable on the wrist thanks to the short lugs and the very good rubber strap.

Thanks for looking,
Gerard
