The 2.7 is a bit of a screamer which I like and plenty enjoyable without going at stupid speed. Still waiting for something from toyota (possible), honda (unlikely) or the next gen mx5 (not sold on the current gen, too small inside and too many silly compromises on storage).

Alpine is a no go, stick only for me, I can drive a slush box when my knees fall off.

Not too heavy (1300kg max), not to big (185cm width max), stick, avail in right hand drive, FWD or RWD (not a fan of 4WD). If you add convertible it gets even more difficult. So I'm waiting, Japanese makers are supposed to come up with quite a few models ...
