Though it took 7.5 months, but it had to go to Switzerland. I had a Blancpain at service this year too, for almost the same length, that went overseas too.
Omega sent back all the parts that they changed out, and their "transport " box is a blast!
So now I have the original hands, if I ever sell the watch I can sell it with all original dial and hands.

The 70’s designs were unlike anything else that ever was, so blatantly original. Contemporary designs from Omega (and many other manufacturers) don’t appear to have that same panache as they did back then.
