No, Omega didn't do them themselves.

As Bill wrote, Omega never made any wristwatches in the "9-eater" configuration like that.  Many were performed as aftermarket updates by dealers and jewelers in the early 20th Century as wristwatches became more popular, but many of those seen on eBay these days are fanciful conversions performed only recently in Eastern Europe.

Looks more like a later Calibre 43 to me: ...but the "Omega" lettering looks different. The serial number is not visible, nor any other markings on the plate... The silver casing bears a German Hallmark... I can't identify the maker. ???...

HI MasterBlaster That is an original Omega case, Omega movement. This watch started out as a open faced pocket watch. The lugs were added and the dial a later manufacture. FYI: Omega has never made a time only watch with sub seconds at nine ( at lest from...
