So you are saying that the watch and case are misfit? This one came from USA and I should only clean a box a bit to make better appereance. Was Omega making some replacement back cases?

IMO the box and the watch are of different age - yes. It is a very nice box though! This was the reason why I bought some of them myself... As far as the case back is concerned: I am sorry I can not tell you anything about - I have never seen this kind of... 

As far as I have been able to ascertain, the small tri-angle is the early makers mark of Centrale Boites in Bienne. The company was a separate entity owned by the Brandt family. Later we see the company mark CB appear. Hope that's useful Cheers Desmond
