Yes, it has it flaws like the silly boat and plane on the sapphire case back, but it only adds to the quirky charm of this rather special piece. It has almost perfect proportions and looks like it was transported to the present in a time capsule.
Not too many simple 3-hand chronometers with a historical connection like this one. You should get one if you can.

Had it several times on my wrist. It is really nice indeed! But it never made „click“ 😅
Somwhow the fine hands do not fit the rather chunky case… for me. And btw the back is awful… ☺️
The case never convinced me.
Especially the bezel size against the overall case proportions did not work for me.
Beautiful and properly robust for daily drive. Unfortunately the legibility is poor with the silver hands on silver dial.
Not good for my aging eyes. That's the main reason i did not buy it about 7-8 years ago
A really love this reference and came close to getting one hunting for a new ones at various omega boutique.
I could not find one new and while I could certainly find nice one used, in the end legibility of these thin silver hands on a white dial were a no go for “me”.

It was a tongue in cheek comment, sorry if I couldn’t convey it well. At that price range I would go for something else too, even though it’s a beautiful piece.
I find it one of the nicer re-editions…

tempted to pull the trigger and buy, but still have not done so. I’m not sure why because I really like it a lot. Maybe next time 😁

I really love this re-issue: The controversial display back: Can come across as slightly chunky: Can be difficult to tell time in certain lighting conditions: In the end, I sold it to make room for other pieces. But I’m having seller’s remorse!😢 I may try...
