"It" arrived yesterday. Yes, I'm speaking of . . .

. . . Erich's Omega chronometer tome.

Haven't been able to delve into it yet, but will soon.

A shout-out to Erich not only for compiling this reference work, which every Omega fan should own, but for his generosity assisting forum participants with questions mundane and arcane.  He's been personally helpful on several occasions.  It's not for nothing I refer to him as one of my main 'go-to' guys.  (Our original Omega moderator, Bill Sohne, is the other, of course.)

Erich was an influence in guiding the course of my collection.  Omega fans everywhere . . .

. . . are indebted.

Both on the book and on the watch. I recently saw this in a vintage watch shop in Mexico City Unfortunately the dial is a little stained. What do you think? Best. René ...

Ref 2364, likely original dial, crown, and subseconds hand . . .

. . . not sure about minute and hour, though. A clearer picture would help. Thinking about this one for yourself, René?

I can’t deny it called my attention Art

But I would prefer one in steel and with the correct hands of course. Best and thanks for your input. René

Thanks for confirming my initial thoughts, Erich. I'm away from home . . .
