WOW I haven't seen a 28 in....

donkey's ears. Not my cup of tea, to be sure, with the exception of the super-fat tritium indices that warm my heart. The policy about servicing the T-dialled models has changed recently. I had mechanical problems with my 36, several years ago, and was told they wouldn't service it...without...changing the dial. I went all the way to the San Giovanni boutique in Florence (I live in the outskirts of Milan) just to hear Patrizia (the boutique manager) confirm..in no uncertain terms..that the watch could NOT be serviced by Panerai. I then proceeded to find a reliable watch repairer and had it serviced by him. What I believe has happened, is that in the new facility in Neuchatel they created a "Vintage" service centre where the original Radiomirs can be restored to the original conditions. The T-dialled models must have been included in the "restoration" menu.
