Panerai PAM 28 PVD- Silver arrow

With all this nostalgia to Panerai past, here is one of my favourite Pam’s – the gorgeous grey PVD , hobnail dial , tritium markers and silver arrow. One of the classics and one I love a lot.

It was one of the first Vendome pieces along with the GMT’s and Submersibles it pioneered a new direction. There is an innocence with these early A and B series models, I think that was lost later on. Panerai has taken quite a beating recently, but I do believe these tritium A and B series will be revived. BTW, Panerai WILL service T dials and not replace them if requested, as long as the hands/dial is not damaged- I know, because this has comeback from an overhaul. The Panerai boutique in London were exemplary in the way they handled the service and were very respectful to the historical nature of the watch. The service experience was excellent, from beginning to end. Total satisfaction with the way

Panerai London- Thank you, especially Nikolajs Ceipe.
