Loving the 779

Certainly a unique blend of DNA elements

I always loved the Cali dial paired with blue hands. Hopefully one day I will find something that I like. I would have landed a 249 by now but never in love with plexi with my clumsy ways. The magical use of plexi of the 662 is making me think twice on pl...

A very unique blend indeed

The 779 is titanium with a DLC coating and sapphire crystal. Much tougher than regular PVD. I've been pretty luck not to bang it on too many things, but the collisions the DLC has endured has held up nicely so far. The dial is painted, not sandwich, or fi...

Cool shot. [nt]

Titanium DLC

One of the most beautiful PAM's available, it ticks so many boxes. K

I too enjoy mine

It’s on a oem rubber strap now ...

Looks really great on your wrist!

I wasn’t convinced of the leather bund strap when I saw the press pictures last year. But I must say the OEM strap looks perfect on your wrist. How does it feel to wear? Best, Thomas

Thanks, Tony,

the rather broad OEM strap feels comfortably too? Best, Thomas

Being titanium I literally could wear all day, every day.

My PAM27 (steel) after wearing 8-10 hours I always wanted to take off for something lighter. My 779 I often fall asleep having forgotten its still on.

Being comfortable, beautiful and stylish.

What else could you want? Enjoy it! ☺️ Best, Thomas

A friend of mine wears it all the time on the cuff.

Over time it breaks in quite nicely. She loves it, and it's a great look for a woman looking for an edgy look! Looks great on you too of course!!!

Interesting!

Do you have a wrist shot? Best, Thomas

Thanks, your Airness! [nt]

I like the combination of the California dial and the black (or is it dark grey?) DLC case. Many congrats and wear it in best health, Thomas

I would feel more comfortable if.....

a handsome timepiece like this one, were..not..a Panerai. I could then judge it on its own merit. That is because a Cali dial, as a Panerai purist, will never belong on a....luminor, for me. You go ahead and enjoy your beauty..too much

Nothing to do with...religion...

 By: sergio : April 8th, 2019-13:30
I assure you. It has to do with choices. I have lived long enough to have developed my own taste. I wish you to reach the same, when you'll be as..vetust..as I am. People have always accused me of being "black&white" but I've always considered it a.&#...

I don't know. I see Paneristis make exceptions all the time...

 By: Brandon Skinner : April 8th, 2019-12:54
I believe you have a 339. Historically, did you ever see an "8 Giorni Brevettato" stamp grace a historical Radiomir with wire lugs? I think not, yet Paneristis will let that one slide! One of the most iconic is the PAM127 with 1950 on the dial. Many gripe...

I'm not a Panerista...I'm Sergio.

 By: sergio : April 8th, 2019-13:40
I don't represent the Paneristi's movement and I never write on behalf of someone that is not me I do have a 339 because of the Marina Militare. If you go read a couple of my past comments on the PAM127, you'll know that I consider it a Panerai for the to...

No beef

 By: Brandon Skinner : April 8th, 2019-15:29
You may not post on Paneristi, and I can fully accept you are yourself, only Sergio, but if you are a Panerai Purist is that not the rough definition of being a Paneristi? No need for us to split hairs as none of this stuff matters. I appreciate having Se...
