When Panerai was hot and hard to get, you could pick up any Rolex.
The coin has flipped.
People are chasing after Rolex, Patek and AP stainless sports models.
Will it come back around?
No one knows.
However, if there was a Panerai you wish you had, NOW is the time to buy.
Definitely a buyer's market.

I’m perplexed. Why is the resale value of some of Panerai’s early 2000’s Ref (such as 086) are not more desired by collectors? I have a hard time understanding why one would purchase a new or newer Ref now costing $6-7k that is just a variant of last year...
