The "shoe box" of the LOGO 5128-201/A

The short story of Panerai's commercial production, starts from this model in 1993. The spare tubes, mini screws and screwdriver, have been added because they are all needed to secure the wrist strap. Today you have 1 long screw. Back in the day, you inserted the tube, apply 1 mini screw at both ends and required 2 screwdrivers (one at each end) to screw them in. Why would they put one screwdriver in the box, when you needed 2, to finish the job, remains a mystery to me smile

Screwdriver decisions aside, what a cool watch.

And, what a nice and simple box. More brands should revert to simple packaging like this.

Beautiful watch and presentation

First world problem admittedly, but for those with a few Panerais (myself included), what to do with all those boxes?

I keep them in my spare room...
