My advice is wear that strap hard... getting it a little wet, a little oily, a little dirty does wonders for the look. I’ve had a few in my day and love them. You might not be inclined to believe me but this is essentially the same as what you have... min...  

I have abused mine for years and it gets better over time, just be aware that they have a structural design flow like most OEM straps because they use glue instead of rolling up the leather at the buckle: ...  

422 is easy to spot as it has the seconds at the 9 o’clock subdial

Estetically I prefer your (372) but I also like the convenience of the small second and the power reserve of the 422...

Then they switched over to Sapphire. My dream would be a Plexi 372 with Power Reserve on the back. I love how the look of the PR on the 3000 caliber. So much nicer than their other calibers where it IMO looks like an afterthought.

I also bought this strap with my 995 because I liked it more than the dark reddish brown strap it was originally on. But I ended up putting an alternative strap to both these, while keeping this one till a later time. But you do make it look mighty tempti... 

I liked its relatively flatter profile to go along with the 995, as well as the little logo it has on the side.

I just happen to like the OEM straps with the little logo . But I still think your above beige strap gives the 995 a more elegant look (which is why I have that strap on standby). Enjoy yours in the best of health.
