Much appreciated, my friend. As for the millemised movements, it only means that Panerai will make some numbers per year, that doesn't mean that they are limited. For example, 500 or 1 000 per year. How to know how many are made is simple. Have a look at ...

Does anyone know why Panerai decided not to use the swan neck regulator in the 337 and 338? Seems odd that the 336 should be "fully equipped." Just curious - I really like the look of the brushed titanium.

whereas the 337 and 338 are not. The 336 is also substantially more expensive than the other two - partly, I imagine, because of its case material; but also, partly because of its LE status. It is normal for LEs to come with extra features such as the swa... 

only problem is: I like the titanium piece but I feel "cheated" without the swan-neck regulator! Well, in the end, this "limitation" is probably better for my pocket book

No complaint, I love the 339. Again, I worry if I will be able to acquire a 339, it seems that the watch is selling out FAST. However, I'm still pressed about the 300. The 300 is a beautiful watch and I'm very keen with the historical significance of this...

A small point, but at 99 pieces vs 300 for the Egiziano, there is one Mare Nostrum for every three Egiziani, not every ten. Not quite sure what I was smoking when I wrote that. Cheers Tony P
