it would have been our first sightings of the L series and we're all keen to see whether the L serie 317 are indeed fitted w/ normal movement w/ smoked crystal caseback. There can be many info from various 'officials' but as we have learned from history, ... 

I have already sent an e-mail to Panerai asking for confirmation of the status of the watch's movement and I called the Paris Panerai boutique today and they said that they would get back to me with an answer. I will keep you posted. As the watch is now g...

but I thought the picture you posted was taken by someone else? So you actually compared an L-serie & K-serie 317 movement side by side?
