PAM650
Enjoying my latest watch. The Panerai PAM00650. I never planned buying it. It wasn't on any wish list. It sort of came out of the blue ;-)
A customer of my AD who ordered the PAM00786 had budgetary problems when the set finally arrived so the set wasn't spoken for anymore. My AD contact called me and asked me if I had any interest. Told him no (because I'm eagerly awaiting a certain Montblanc). A few days later I went in to get a new dial for my DD40 and I asked him to show me the set anyway. I mean; I was sitting there anyway....right?
Well as I'm pretty sure you probably know how things like this can go....one thing led to another and I bought the Daylight and a friend of mine bought the Black Seal. Yes we got the set together. It's a fun thing to share watches amongst friends

the lume matches the car

The arrival of one toy sort of came together with the departure of another :-( Next week I will be transferring the joy of one ridiculous car, the Lincoln Continental Mark IV, to someone else. It's going to a very warm home so no harm done.
