Hi, I'm back with another query regarding Panerai. This time is about a wall clock. My AD suggested to take this as well along with 372 as it's another good clock from the brand I'm being introduced to.

If it's worth having then I can hang it in my study or office cabin. If not of great value I'll skip. I personally feel since I'm already giving him a shave on 372 and he is gradually stopping Panerai brand, I'd take it. It's expensive still. Half of the ...
Hi Pun, I think it's beautifully executed and a dream for any Paneristo to have.
It's still just a quartz wall clock, but really nice. Normally they are reserved for the ADs to display, not to sell, so might be hard to get on another occasion- Unless the price is horrendous of course, which I expect not since it's a bundle-

I don't know what do you mean by horrendously expensive. It's offered at half the price of the 372. And I'm willing to pay 50% of asking price. Now you got the range perhaps. Please vote now... Regards
I’m not sure if we’re on the same page here but it’s not a watch from the manufacture just a mock up with a quartz watch inside.
At half the price of a 372 I wouldn’t even bother if it was me, unless you’re in love with the idea of having a Panerai marketing watch of course.
I'm told that it's from the manufacture only, a genuine Panerai wall clock with PAM 585 model number...
It's confusing now. I'll hold till some clarity is arrived, whether the product is genuine from manufacture or not.

I think it might be a nice gadget to have, but after you are a big fan of the brand and well aware its horological value is essentially zero..
If I’m not mistaken, half the value of a 372 is still in the few thousands...something I would hardly consider to buy with my first Panerai😉

I'm holding the deal till the issue of its originality is clear, whether made at the Manufacture or by a third party. Regards
If you're buying from a Panerai AD, I have no doubt this clock is genuine and made by Panerai. If you google Panerai ref. 585, you'll even find a Youtube video of someone "unboxing" it! :-)
My point was that I view these as gadgets for the hardcore fans of a specific brand, rather than something of horological interest. The money you'd spend on this quartz clock would already cover half of your next "real" Panerai. But of course, these consi...
