Can't get enough of sizes nowadays... I think 300 and 341 would be best for bad eyes like those of mine. 47 mm clean simple dial is very good for someone like me.

She loves Panerais too because they are so legible for her poor eyes! Cheers Stephen

the 339 is Simple and simply Gorgeous. both are very Different but Beautiful in their own right. and both are loved by 2 different Generations. WEAR THEM Well :0))) Cheers

Or shall I say I appreciate back to basics simple dial more now. The 317 has a complex and handsome movement, but from my practical POV, the 339 does a better job for being clean, legible and easy to read. A timeless classic.

Especially like the strap combo on the 317. I'm of the opinion that the 317 should only be mated w/ strap of black/grey colour tone but your pictures are slowly changing my mind.... Re: your comment as to yourself being 2 old for F-cars, aren't you a prou... 

doesn't seem to work too well due to the fact that it is a modern watch in ceramic with modern face decor. It doesn't have any vintage flavour to it like the 339. I'd say that wasn't quite right to be honest. I think your sticking to a black buffalo would... 

My bones will shatter in a scuderia or anything similar... the suspension is too jarring...

I think this is "while not historically correct in size... being 44mm" the best piece. Take out the date, the second hand, using FAT, OP logo, Luminor Panerai, the best of what you can get in a PAM. A modern reincarnation. Retro vintage is in....
