Not having a 662
I may go for the 720 with branded dial. I had a chance to see a mint 249 recently and it's really aging well, the dial in particular is wonderfully executed. A solid case back like the 232 would have been nice but clearly a classic, they appear to be holding their value extremely well.

I don’t want to miss the 721 though ... that clean dial is superb... would u think different if the 721 had a 249 case ? Guess not...

I'm old school and as such: 232-249 has no rivals, when it comes to Radiomir "pairs". Should one of the 2 Radiomirs, be a 1940's cased one, I would simply substitute the 232 with the 587.

If the 721 didn’t came out I would have bought a 232. Now I am happy with the 721. Prefer having no text on the dial. 249 has a nice Oldtimer kind of appearance. I wanted to buy it for my father but he prefered the 720 .

The big disadvantage of the 720 is the color of the writing. It has the Same color as the lume. It has to be white in my point of view. So comparing 721

I guess I must only have checked pictures where the lighting made the writing look white, like the below! ...

I prefer the wired lugs, crown, darker and cleaner dial (without the light writing), the easiness. But ok, I am biased. 😊 ...

The 720 is my fathers watch. I wanted to convince him as well to take a 249. He preferred the 720 🤪
I have another idea . Maybe it’s because the 720 comes with a lighter brown strap 🤣
