Low demand?
I seriously doubt the p5000 steel model will be in low demand.
For an 8 day power reserve watch, the list price is a mere SGD8.8k, whilst the 111 with 40-48hr PR on an ETA-based calibre is already SGD7k+. There will be a long queue for this to buy the p5000 steel at no discount.
This is destined to be one hot model amongst those who are not sticklers for a PR indicator.
Anyone wanna hazard a guess if the new p5000 will cause the price of the then discontinued 111 to skyrocket? My guess is that 111 will be devalued since its not a limited production/edition model. Even if the 111 was, panerai SEs are a dime a dozen anyway.

Panerai will see our comments and next year the 5000 calibre will have a PR on dial and other on the back, IMHO. A low demand for this model will help Panerai to implement this new serie. Just wait and see. Cheers, patrickh

Amongst those paneristi in the know, i guess having a PR indicator matters. These are just the tip of the whole iceberg of those who wear pams. The trouble is (and a sad thing too), for most guys out there who are merely into the brand because it looks "m...
