there are companies and company managements that would not...ignore...the possibility of maximizing profit. Also, we're talking about a L.E. with a relative low cost and not a PAM21 I'm not justifying Panerai's actions by any stretch of the imagination, I'm saying that there are sins that take you straight to hell, and there are some that you can repair with a few Hail Maries What I don't agree with, is that the PAM318 "fiasco" has had any...significant...impact on both, the image of the company and the volume of sales. The wider Panerai's audience has NO IDEA whatsoever about the PAM318...stink

Panerai didn't...start to go down because of the Brooklyn fiasco. It kept on climbing for quite a number of years after that

so YOU were "not impressed" and started looking at Panerai in a different way. I, for instance, bought some 30 to 35 Panerais AFTER the Brooklyn fiasco
