In fact, I liked some Panerai watches before I tried those ones
it is just that I don't have any a priori or other biased opinion on any of them regarding historical aspects or supposed legitimacy of one over another etc, this or that detail in the "wrong" place etc... I really don't care if it's iconic or not...
Btw, I'm not a fan of the Pole2pole presented here, the colors, and dial elements didn't work for me. The thin reference looked really great but not suiting my small wrist, thus the proportions didn't work well.
But I'm open to discover other references as well if they are nice.

Yes, the 674 is a very nice watch
I think that a bit thicker model would suit my wrist and taste better but the thin 674 is a great watch. I'm tempted by the Regatta but it is a little too big. Thanks for your feedback William Best, Mark
