I don't have any Panerai in My collection. I've an opportunity to add either of above two to my collection. Which one will you choose, as a Paneristi, if possible, why . Regards ...
Will be the overwhelming response from Panerai owners. Bottom line: if you want a date there are better options, if you want a cali there are also better options, leaves the date 424 in a niche position but if you don't care and it makes you happy then go...
I am the owner of 424 date. It is a beautiful watch, but with time you'll get pissed about date window. Yes, it's functional, but I suggest you the one without date. I hate the fact Panerai stamp "8 days" on the dial. Once I see "automatic" or "8 days" si...
Maybe he should look around unless the opportunity is super good. There is a risk that the date will piss him off. Still that model is quite nice and unique ... as it have the date. So itβs not too bad
choosing between the two would be like choosing between rubella and the measels. In the PAM424 the date and the logo are unacceptable! As for the PAM610 the ENGLISH wording 8 days is also...oh yuck!!!! Funny people like me, who actually LIKE Panerai, don'...
ππππ I'm running away from them!! Thanks for saving me from being ridiculed and embarrassment later and saving money too in this era of economic uncertainty. Regards
on the other hand, if you were to find a 45mm, Radiomir PAM210 NOS..at a price that's acceptable for you, BUY it immediately, before the seller changes his-her mind
PAM 372, 424 (no date), 572 and 619 are also available with the dealer. Is any of them worth spending, if getting a good deal, as first Panerai? Thank you all for taking your time in educating me here. I'm obliged. Regards ...
among the ones itemized, 372 all the way! One thing, forget about costs, resale values, collection considerations. Buy to keep or buy some other brand.
You both for convincing me to take a genuinely serious Panerai. I had some reservations about the crown lock that is very prominent as per my taste. But now I feel I must have it. π
used to say my Roman ancestors=personal taste cannot be censored. Reality, though, says that the 424 with the date was produced for less than I year. The response of the market was so...catastrophic...that they discontinued the production of this model in...
Panerai perhaps wanted us to forget date version as it was a fiasco. PAM 424 with date version might also be a gold mine in future as very limited pieces were made and a blunder by a brand like Panerai may fetch dividend in distant future. Who knew in 196...
What normally is the service interval for this movement? Or unless something wrong, I just forget the service part? I need opinion on that as well. Regards
since as far as Panerai is concerned, it was ALREADY sold to a 3rd party, right? The A.D. will have to provide you with their guarantee (unless they can "reactivate" the original one, through Panerai). Furthermore, a watch is not an automobile. It doesn't...
Still waiting him to further reduce prices. He may come down little more. It's plexiglass one so before s series number. Richemont service in India is not very good and I've heard many international traveler complaining about their watches serviced here i...
There is another issue cropped up, that is of warranty, the AD is not able to offer me that. The box papers and other accessories are there but he won't extend warranty at the price I've finally negotiated. It's practically 40% less the list price. A Catc...
was listed in the inventory, that doesn't mean they actually produced it routinely. Panerai and Rolex have...nothing...in common with one another, don't make the mistake to compare apples with...pears, lest you get seriously burned. There are beautiful ra...
My dealer opened his shop after 2 months so that he could deliver me 372 and it was not there. He told me that it was in his online inventory stock but somehow it was sold by some sales person who forgot to update stock. He has 610 and others but now all ...
Now in hindsight I realize that a fortnight back Panerai was a brand that had nothing for me. It represented thick and ugly watches, especially their crown lock system was so grossly protruding. And after I started a thread here, among Panerai connoisseur...
i am not the biggest fan of the 372. Itβs a nice watch and many like them. If u want a purist look u should get one with plexiglass to the get the patina on it .
