I finally got the 322

May 26, 2024,05:26 AM

I’ve been searching for a Radiomir with the beautiful Minerva movement and was initially looking for a 309 but ended listening to Sergio and pulled the trigger on the 322 with the stunning tobacco dia. Also being limited to 50pcs vs 100pcs for the 309 made it even more interesting for me.

Everything about this piece is just so perfect. The brushed and polished 47mm titanium case, tobacco brown dial with the stunning rose gold hands and most importantly the magnificent Minerva movement that is so beautifully finished. Some people mentioned that the level of finishing is comparable to Patek, vacheron or Lange. Nothing made sense to me until I finally got it!

Avec plaisir!

I continue to be amazed by these early PAM’s: titanium + Minerva movement? I can only imagine how marvelous this combo turned out. Enjoy it, do share some wrist shots in natural light, if you can

Thanks :)

Didn’t realize these were a thing. Which other Panerai references have a juicy movement like this?!

I perfectly agree! Always ask myself the same question

I’ve always been a fan of the older/earlier models. Don’t agree with what they’re actually producing and coming up with

Congratulations!

It’s a great watch. Congrats! With this you just don’t need any other Panerai. It’s…well, it’s basically perfect. So you + me = 2 of the 50 with the tobacco dial here…I wonder if any more are lurking? Best E. ...

Oh hehe feels good to see another one :)

Yeah we need to do a roll call for the 322/309. I think this is one of the best looking Rad with Minerva movement. I remember Jester telling me back In the days when they first came out: “there’s such a joy when you wind the watch and hear the slow heartb...

Oh yeah

That slow beat and the big ol’ balance wheel are awesome!

That's a nice model...

One of my "regrets". Early Panerai's days for me. I bought the 309 (wrong mentor) without knowing the existence of the 322. Not long after I saw a 322 and I suggested a swap with the seller 309+5K Sin$ and was turned down. He wanted Sin$10K no negotiation...

Your loss is my gain buddy lol

I was in the same boat until you told me to go for the 322 and I couldn’t be happier. The tobacco dial is gorgeous and especially under sunlight. It matches the titanium case perfectly and gives it a nice vintage flair. Hope all is well man. I really miss...
