Pairs....

 By: sergio : October 14th, 2018-09:27
I've put together all my pairs As Michael Jackson used to sing: it don't matter if you're black or white. The PAM375 and 127 are a perfect example. Composite pair. PAM375 and PAM339 Opposite pair. PAM127 and PAM217 Marina Militare pair. PAM587 and PAM673 ...

Any new pairs in the pipeline?

With these pairs, I’d be way more than done I’ve always thought about Panerai in pairs. Like a 47 and a 44 for Luminors for example. That 232 and 249 / MM pair / first pairing are killers for me Best, Echi

I'm afraid...not.

These and few others, are all the Panerai I have use for. Over the years, the evolution of the brand and that of my personal taste, have taken different paths

My head is spinning. I would love to have the model numbers PAMxxx associated with each set.

In this forum there are no show offs just sharing and caring members.

When it comes to Panerai....

 By: sergio : October 16th, 2018-11:19
vintage refers to other models and there is not a single one, in my "collection". The Panerai history recognoises three distinct periods: Vintage: all the models produced from 1936 and 1993, which includes all the watches produced for the Italian Navy. Pr...

Wow. Amazing ... a Kings collection. Thx for sharing that .

...

I agree completely with this moment in time PAM232- PAM127 - PAM249.

 By: Bill : October 16th, 2018-10:58
That was the height of my collecting Panerai. There was a year fever among collectors. There was always a much higher demand that stock and this helped to keep the values stable and the path for new collectors to join the game. Those where the good old da...

I have never seen your 390.....

 By: sergio : October 16th, 2018-12:54
you have a very nice and significative collection of Early Post-V models. I agree with you on the "Zero". The..existing link..between the old and the new. It was quite clever for Mr Bonati to..evoke..the LOGO with it's natural heir...PAM000

I still have a few more in the collection.

 By: Bill : October 16th, 2018-13:44
I call them my dirty dozen. Rough tough and ready for anything. To be honest i am even a little lost with the model numbers. The Pam 203 has always had a special place in the collection despite the process (i was among the last not their first choice lol)...

Speechless...
