I am bias - 233 gets my vote
I have the 233 and I think it has struck a great balance between sport and dressy.
Regarding access they are both standard production and not limited editions so, even though they are hard to come by, they should continue to be available for any AD over the months and years to come.
They are both great at the end the day it is really a matter of style.

In terms of rarity, both the PAM233 and PAM268 are regular production watches so I wouldn't consider one more rare than the other. Do you currently have any Panerai's? If so, which ones? Radiomirs or Luminors? If this is going to be your 1st Panerai and y...

As a Panerai collecter I agree that your first one should be a Luminor, and the 233 should be easy to sell in the future. my current collection 88, 25, 250, 113, 177. One i sold 118, 183, and fiddy
If you regret selling your fiddy, I'm sure u can replace it with the
fiddy base whenever that comes out. It's only a matter of time when Panerai makes the 47mm 1950 base IMO Cheers, Anthony
