Hey guys, the PAM26 is SMOKING HOT!!
There is a slight change from the prototype that was shown at SIHH 2008 which makes a HUGE difference in the overall look. And guess what the change is?
The change is the PVD coating!
My guess is Panerai used a different supplier for the PVD coating.
The PVD case of the PAM26 at SIHH 2008 was just a regular PAM195 PVD case. For those who own or have seen a PAM195 PVD case, the PVD color is very dark. The final production PAM26 PVD now has a slight grey hue to it and sort of looks a little like the Pre-V PVD color. In addition, the PAM26 PVD coating has a tad more shine to it as well.
Whoever is getting a PAM26, you will absolutely LOVE it!

PS. The PAM26 dial is indeed a sandwich dial too. I remember I posted before that it wasn't, but it actually is.
