There is a slight change from the prototype that was shown at SIHH 2008 which makes a HUGE difference in the overall look. And guess what the change is? The change is the PVD coating! My guess is Panerai used a different supplier for the PVD coating. The ... 

That's a good news that Panerai made a slight grey PVD as the Pre Vendome! I'll have to give it a second chance and to see it in the flesh. If only they had used a tainted lumi, like the one on the Cali... Best, and thanks for this info! Nicolas

A little bit like tantalum color (darker), and if it is scratched, panerai will be able to coat it again... It is quite difficult to get accurate color on the photo... With matching buckle...

Can I ask where all these 26's are coming from. I read about them coming in on the other forum and called my ad right away to check and they said no 26's til next year at least. Are they arriving early at the bhb only?? Wes

Do you know if it is now PVD as apposed to the more durable DLC? Hope mine will arrive as soon as! : )
