Group Opinion on Pan 212
Hi Guys,
New to Panerai, but been eying the Pan 212 for a while. Would like everyone's opinion on the matter.
Some say that the 3xx series are better (8 days, 10 days) for value bc of in house movements, and that the 212/213 are not very sophisticated technologically.

The movements in the PAM212 and PAM213 are Valjoux 7750's
so they are true workhorse movements which are reliable and proven. Yes the Valjoux 7750 doesn't have as many features as the P.900x movements but it's still a good movement IMO. The main thing is to get what you like. If you like the look of the PAM212, ...

...it really depends on what you like. Also, if you want flyback or rattrapante complications you don't have a choise of an in house movement. Personally I really like the look of the 214 which has the same movement as the 213. The Panerai that I have on ...
