Hearty congrats, my friend, on obtaining such a rare and interesting piece! I loved how your macros showed the bronze peeking out from under the PVD to great effect. Also, the domed plexy is so attractive. The added dimensionality and illusion of heft provided the watch by this crystal choice is awesome IMO. I do wonder why the prototype codename "SLOB?" Could it be an acronym for something...how about Sexy Luminors Of Bronze or Super Luminous Original & Brawny?! 
Thanks again for the writeup. If you hadn't posted this article I doubt I'd have ever seen or known anything about this timepiece.

and a place amongst historical deviations and ideas for the future. Sometime, in the future, you'll see, this piece will be referred to when a new line emerges. I'm envious!!!

interestingly, the bronze case and dial gives the watch a vintage patina under the pvd which is very desirable, congrats to be able to acquire such an fascinating piece and wear in good health.
